After filling the feeders and putting out fresh water I sat with the back window open for a half an hour and nobody would even come close to the feeder. :( They'll never come if I'm standing out there by the hummingbird feeder. May have to revise my strategy.... :plotting:

:iconsunflowervlg: suggested sitting in the car near the feeder -- which I may end up doing! I have to cut back the Rose of Sharon bush between the porch and the feeders, so we'll see what that does to the flight patterns!

It's a thought..... It might work, too! When I was playing paintball, there were these guys who had ghillie suits. They looked like camo versions of Cousin It, but if you sat very still, the suits tended to work. I think they were hot, though -- lots of layers of "stuff". Just another outrageous thought! :-)
